Transformational Leadership Series. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is a theory in psychology that Abraham Maslow proposed in his 1943 paper A Theory of Human Motivation,[1] which he subsequently extended to include his observations of humans’ innate curiosity. Maslow studied exemplary people such as Albert Einstein, Jane Addams, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Frederick Douglass rather than mentally ill or neurotic people, writing that “the study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy.”[2] Maslow also studied the healthiest one percent of the college student population. This subjectivity troubled even Maslow himself. In his book, “The Farther Reaches of Human Nature”, Maslow writes, “By ordinary standards of laboratory research…this simply was not research at all. My generalizations grew out of my selection of certain kinds of people. Obviously, other judges are needed.” While Maslow’s theory was regarded as an improvement over previous theories of personality and motivation, it had its detractors. For example, in their extensive review of research that is dependent on Maslow’s theory, Wahba and Bridgewell [3] found little evidence for the ranking of needs that Maslow described, or even for the existence of a definite hierarchy at all. Chilean economist and philosopher Manfred Max need has also argued that fundamental human needs are non-hierarchical, and are ontologically universal and invariant in … Video Rating: 4 / 5

MHP! is the first game created by the doujin group “Dakken”, which was in development roughly ten years ago back in 2000, and a sequel of sorts, “Magical Chaser ~Stardust of Dreams~”, was made many years later in 2008. MHP! uses the FM95 engine and, for its time, was one of the better uses of the FM95 engine by a doujin group. It’s primarily a fighting game combining characters from various “magical girl” and “anime/manga” franchises. Some of these are Ojamajo Doremi, Crayon Kingdom/Yume no Crayon Kingdom, Princess Comet, Fushigi Mahou Fun Fun Pharmacy, Di Gi Charat, Mahoujin GuruGuru (which there are several games of, most published by Enix). There are also a few cameo characters and characters with an unusual history like Ecoco. Unlike many games developed with the FM95/FM2k engine, MHP! is not freeware and sales have long been discontinued for the game. Its case design mimicks that of a Dreamcast game, with a white and orange color scheme for the game’s system requirements and for the spine card it comes with (as well as the English name on one insert flap and the Japanese name on the other). The game features more characters than its successor, though they aren’t as fine-tuned or balanced as those in MC (Ecoco for example can be really cheap) and the fighting just isn’t as polished in general. Each character can execute your standard array of specials and super moves and execute a few combos here and there, but the controls require more timing than some FM games and … Video Rating: 0 / 5
